Work in Progress:
Spiraling
I organized an Artist’s Way group with friends old and new over the Summer of 2025. The original vision was for the 12-week process to culminate in an outdoor art show we would throw in someone’s backyard.
These are some poster designs I made for the show.

The GroupThe group met weekly to go through the Artist’s Way book, share our respective creative processes, and get inspired together.

Texture explorations with Silvana
One of the group members was my friend Silvana (@earthchrome), who is also one of my favorite
artists!
She was kind enough to show me how she uses gelli plates and we made some interesting textures and images.

Poster Sketches
I took this same messy, process-based approach to creating imagery and lettering to be used for the art show.

Poster Design
Silvana also had written some words about the concept of spiraling in our group Slack and I thought they really encapsulated the concept of the art show, so I included it in the poster.

Ultimately, the weather caught up with us before we could finish planning the show, and we really wanted to have it outside, so maybe this project will stay planted for the Winter and sprout again next Spring!
