I art directed and executed graphic and motion design as well as video editing for a run of three releases from Portland rapper/producer Gepetto.
Portland rapper/producer Gepetto experienced a resurgence of creative output during the lockdown of 2020, and continued a prolific run through 2023 that defined his new era.
I art directed all visuals and handled all graphic and motion design in this period, giving Gepetto’s resurgence a cohesive look and feel, while giving each project a unique identity.

The Summer Tape project balanced chill vibes for days made lazy hazy with Gepetto’s signature dark bangers. I reflected this visually with a design system that bridges the gap between goth and summer vibes.

I created an explosive visual world for Gepetto’s high-octane single, “Spontaneous Combustion” by collaging together imagery of fire with Nascar imagery to create an incendiary combination.

Gepetto took the fuel of the most nightmarish year ever and turned it into creative firepower, pumping out 20 tracks over the course of 2020. I drew on classic 80’s horror aesthetics to create album art and a music video that pull the listener into his world.
